The flag of Sachkhand Nanak Dham International consists of four colours, what do they mean? & PICTURE


The Sachkhand Nanak Dham International flag is four coloured with a coat of arms set against a white background, and is hoisted at all designated Deras. The four colours are red, green, white and saffron or yellow as shown in the diagram.

RED: The colour red is given to human beings by the Almighty Supreme Lord, and represents the praise of ‘Das’

GREEN: The colour green is bestowed by the Lord of the grains and is associated with prosperity and joy

WHITE: White is the colour of the Lords robe and symbolises peace

SAFFRON or YELLOW: The colour saffron or yellow is revered as the symbol of sacrifice

COAT OF ARMS: Imprinted on white background
i)    Elephant = represents the Lord Ganesh
ii)    Lion = represents Sovereignty
iii)    Sabre (Shamsheer) = symbol of power
iv)    Rosary (Mala) = symbol of devotion
